Alison Wonderland's real name was Alexandra Margo Sholler. She is an Australian singer, dance music producer and DJ. Run was her first release which reached the top spot on the ARIA albums chart. ARIA certified the album gold. Alison tells us how she came to decide that she wanted to pursue a career in DJing. She became interested in electronic dance music while she went to a club called Candy's Apartment. The DJ was playing Silent Shout by the Knife. So she walked up to the Dj and asked about the track. She starred on the FX crime comedy Fargo's first season. Fargo was the 1996 Coen Brothers film, starred Billy Bob Thornton (as Molly Solverson), Martin Freeman (as Bob Odenkirk) and Bob Odenkirk. Tolman was recognized for her role as Minnesota police officer Molly Solverson. Vanity Fair said that Tolman "calmly, assuredly stole" the film. For her role, she won the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Film/Miniseries, and also received Best Actress nominations at the Emmy Awards and for the Golden Globes. Tolman got an episode of guest-starring in the role of romance novelist Abby Berman on The Mindy program the following year. In 2015, her second character was on Michael Dougherty's film, horror-film Krampus. Tolman declined several support roles, like the ones played by mothers, wifes and besties, after her debut on Fargo. Tolman wanted a different job. Tolman was cast on ABC's Downward Dog based off the Animal Media Group webseries. The series ended in the middle of a year. Tolman was a part of the ABC drama, Emergence. It premiered on the 24th of September, 2019 but ended the show after just one season in May 2021, despite the fact that Tolman tweeted that the show received "pretty good" ratings. The appearances of her in the NBC show NBC Good Girls were also cited as a source. In 2021, she acted as Alma Filcott on the second season of Why Women Kill and Natalie Green in the Facts of Life, of Live in Front of a Studio Audience, third edition.
